I will never understand why people cause drama. I have attempted to move away from drama (literally and figuratively). Yet, some how it still finds me. I have never enjoyed getting my name dragged through the mud and don't do it to other people.
My parents always taught me "Treat others how you want to be treated". I wonder why all parents can't be that wonderful and teach their children that?!?
It just bothers me, sorry.
I think there will always be more important things to worry about and think about then who said what and why.
I have learned a couple of things from years of drama:
* My family makes me happiest.
* Daniel is my best friend and will listen to me no matter what. He always puts things in perspective and I love that.
* I will be as good of a friend as you are to me. However, I will not make you feel guilty about having a life and other people outside of me. Nor will I get mad at you for it. Been on that side of it, and hate it.
*99.9 % of the time, it doesn't matter.
For happier news: I am in the process of reading 4 books at one time (yes, it is true). The first is "The Magicians Nephew" which is by C.S. Lewis. It is a little rough for me to get through but I am trying. The second is "Night World vol 2.". This book is strictly for entertainment. It is very good though but you have to enjoy "Twilight" to enjoy it. The third is "Prep". I am not very far into it, however...it seems really good and I can't wait to let you know. And the last is the one I am most interested in "Fallen Angels and the origins of evil". It is about the Book of Enoch which did not make it into the bible. I am not far but it is an intense but fascinating read :)
(And Daniel told me, I can't buy anymore books...that I must go to the library. I wonder why? :) )

Why not?
Seems like everyone has a blog now, so why not start one? This way, maybe all my long lost family can know what is going on!
What is going on now:
I have officially completed and passed student teaching. I am still in the Kindergarten classroom until April 10th, but then I'm done. I am looking for some jobs in about 4-5 counties around the area. I have not decided on a grade, although...I do think I would be better in younger grades. The older grades appeal to me, especially the curriculum but I love the younger grades attitudes towards learning. I do love my students now and will hate to leave them. But I think that is how it goes for every teacher.
My college graduation is May 15th. I will officially have my B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Political Science. I think I am ready to get a job...and get paid! I'm sure Daniel is :)
Daniel, Dot and I are doing great! We have almost been married a year..it is hard to believe. We really like life in Greensboro, but sure do miss the mountains. We love our house and are currently in the process of painting the rooms. So far, we have one done :) That is good, considering the fact we have been super busy!
But overall, life is going well. I still have big plans in travel this year..just need to find the time. I want to go to Washington D.C., Las Vegas, California and back to Disney World. Then of course, I am still looking to travel abroad to many islands and Ireland. I believe getting in all the travel before we have kids will be great. Then I can go to kid friendly places (such as Disney World :) ) more often!!!!
